The Thermo Scientific™ HERAfreeze™ HDE ultra-low temperature freezers provide reliable sample protection with a high level of user convenience while being exceptionally environmentally friendly.

Performance:

  • Designed for everyday use: the cabinet temperature recovers 20% faster after the door is opened.2
  • Quiet noise level of 53 dBA allows the freezer to be placed in the lab instead of the hallway.
  • Meets validation protocols for +/-10 °C at -80 °C with wide peak fluctuations and steady-state temperature variations.
  • Natural hydrocarbon-based refrigerants reduce system operating stress and provide excellent reliability and worry-free sample protection.
User-friendly:
  • The H-Drive Information Center (HIC) combines easy-to-read temperature with user-friendly capacitive touch buttons on a 5.6-inch display.
  • Four sizes (300, 400 500 and 600 2 in. box) to meet a variety of storage needs and lab specifications.
  • All models feature five interior doors for easy access to samples without exposing the freezer to ambient conditions.
  • Improved ease of use with a new ergonomically designed handle, high-contrast eye-level display and convenient, easy-access shelving.
