As a spin-off from the Leibniz Institute for Polymer Research in Dresden, we at Better Basics Laborbedarf stand for innovative basic laboratory equipment - Made in Germany. Our many years of work in science and our comprehensive know-how in the field of plastics and 3D printing technology are the basis for our innovative products, which are completely tailored to the individual requirements in the laboratory.

Our products offer solutions for a wide variety of work in the laboratory. Modularity is a characteristic feature of our products, which can thus be quickly and easily adapted to the respective needs of the user. With SmartRack® , for example, all modules can be freely combined in terms of number of units and position.

SmartRack® - Modular organization system for laboratory workstations

The SmartRack® is a modular organization system for laboratory accessories and laboratory glassware. It enables the user to operate it efficiently with one hand and increases safety during work by means of an anti-tip device. In addition, the SmartRack® offers significant space savings through improved utilization of the height, thus creating order and free space for working.

Due to its modular design, the SmartRack® is a system solution that can be adapted to the individual needs of the user. The individual modules of the organization system can be arranged in any way and exchanged flexibly. As a system solution, the SmartRack® replaces many different individual solutions. Various holders, e.g. for pipettes or round-bottom flasks (e.g. cork rings, three-finger clamps), or a waste container thus become superfluous.
