The 5920 R centrifuge offers an exceptionally large capacity in a compact and ergonomic product design. It has similar dimensions to refrigerated competitor models in the 3-liter segment, but has an outstanding capacity of up to 4 × 1,000 mL. This makes it the ideal unit for high-throughput applications. It is equipped with a powerful cooling system with state-of-the-art temperature management, so you can centrifuge your samples safely.

Universal buckets for both tubes and plates

Both the Rotor S-4x1000 with high-capacity buckets and the Rotor S-4×Universal-Large allow you to use both tubes and plates in the same bucket.

4-liter capacity

The 5920 R centrifuge accommodates conventional 1-liter ^Nalgene® bottles, setting new standards in the benchtop centrifuge segment. Compared to other custom-made 1-liter bottles, the Nalgene bottle is narrower and provides better pellet formation than wider bottles. The larger capacity allows you to process larger volumes in fewer runs.
