Eppendorf (IVD) Centrifuge 5418 R, incl. fixed-angle rotor f. 18 x 1.5/2.0 ml reaction tubes, aerosol-tight

The Centrifuge 5418 R with its 18-place rotor is specially designed for low to medium volumes in 1.5/2.0 mL tubes and ^{Microtainer®}. With a speed of up to 16,873 × g, it is particularly suitable for standard molecular biology applications. This compact instrument also has a particularly low access height and features extremely quiet operation.

Rotor with unique QuickLock lid - locked firmly and securely with just a quarter turn. The rotor provides an aerosol-tight seal so that hazardous samples such as viruses, pathogenic bacteria, blood samples or radioactive samples can be safely centrifuged. The rotors are included as standard.
