Testo® hot-wire probe, digital cable-connected incl. temperature sensor

Use the hot-wire probe to determine flow velocity; volume flow and air temperature with the matching testo multifunction meter (please order separately). Hot-wire probe - Features Use the permanently attached cable to connect the hot-wire probe to the measuring instrument. The probe is equipped with a telescope which has a maximum length of 0.85 m when extended. To ensure accurate measurement results, compensation of the air density is performed via the integrated absolute pressure measurement. The clearly structured measuring menu for volume flow ensures intuitive operation of the measuring device. Thanks to convenient input of the dimension and geometry of the duct cross-section, the volume flow is calculated precisely. Time and point averaging, average volume flow, current measured value and min/max values are displayed in the measuring device. Integrated sensor protection: When you are not using the hot-wire probe, the rotatable protective cap protects the flow sensor from dirt and mechanical stress. Intelligent calibration concept With the digital probe, you benefit from particularly precise measurement results because the measurement uncertainty from the meter is eliminated. For calibration, you only send in the probe - so the measuring device remains in use throughout. Application areas of the hot-wire probe ventilation ducts: With the hot-wire probe, you can reliably measure flow velocity and air temperature in ventilation ducts. Benefit from a fast calculation of the volume flow: In the measuring menu "Volume flow" of the suitable measuring device (please order separately), you configure the dimension and geometry of the duct cross-section - the measuring device shows you the volume flow directly.
