Leaky gas lines not only lead to higher gas consumption, but in the worst case can also trigger explosions and fires. Since leaks are often difficult to detect with the naked eye (e.g. the smallest hairline cracks), the use of gas detection technology is a good idea when checking gas lines. Gas detector for multiple gas types with alarm function With the gas detector from Testo you have a gas detection device; with which you can detect methane, propane as well as hydrogen. The gas concentrations are measured by the semiconductor sensor in the ppm range and shown in the display with a resolution of 1 ppm. Rely on the alarm function in your work: when the lower explosion limit is approached, the gas detector emits acoustic signals. As soon as the explosion limit is reached, you will hear a continuous tone and will also be informed via the display. Due to the possibility of a flexible probe extension, gas lines in hard-to-reach places can also be checked easily and quickly with the gas detector.
