Testo® exhaust gas probe with prefilter for industrial engines

The exhaust gas probe (together with the appropriate measuring device) performs excellent services when it comes to professional exhaust gas measurement on stationary industrial engines. As it is made entirely of metal, the handle is prevented from melting by the radiated heat from the exhaust gas channel. The exhaust gas probe can be used at exhaust gas temperatures of up to 1,000 °C. In addition, measurements are also possible at a high overpressure (up to max. 100 mbar at the probe tip). Particularly practical for measurements on diesel engines thanks to the prefilter Since the exhaust gas probe has a prefilter, it is particularly suitable for measurements on stationary diesel engines. This is because the prefilter protects the gas sampling probe from diesel particles. The pre-filter is firmly welded to the exhaust probe and therefore cannot slip or get lost. To protect against other contaminants, there is an additional particle filter in the hose of the exhaust gas probe. A suitable thermocouple can be ordered for parallel temperature measurement in the exhaust gas. It enables parallel measurement of the temperature in the exhaust gas. In addition, a heat protection handle is supplied with the thermocouple to prevent burning of the metal handle. The probe tube is easy to change.
