Testo® 470 - Speed measuring instrument

Do you want to measure the rotational speed of rotating objects or record the length and speed of treadmills and wheels? With the testo 470 tachometer, you have a compact tool that makes these measurements possible. Multiple functions in one tachometer With optical speed measurement, you can use the testo 470 tachometer to record how fast a rotating object is turning. In this way, you can check the operation of motors, shafts and fans, for example, to detect impending defects due to overload at an early stage. For speed measurement, the reflex marks are simply stuck onto the object to be measured and the visible red light beam is aligned with the reflex mark. Then the measurement can begin (at a distance of up to 600 mm between the tachometer and the measured object). The tachometer can be conveniently operated with one hand. However, the testo 470 tachometer not only offers the functions of an optical tachometer, but also those of a mechanical tachometer: Attach the adapter for the probe tip and measure the speed mechanically. By plugging on the impeller, you additionally measure speeds and lengths of impellers/bands. You will receive the testo 470 tachometer in a carrying case including practical accessories (reflex markers, soft case, etc.).
