Sartorius® Minisart SRP15 Syringe Filters 17558 - K, 0.2 µm hydrophobic PTFE

Non-sterile Minisart® SRP syringe filters are available in a bag in a pack. This reduces waste and facilitates handling whenever the application allows clear filtration under non-sterile conditions, as is most often the case in sample preparation prior to HPLC or GC analysis. The PTFE membrane with low non-specific binding is the best option for leachable filtration whenever highest chemical compatibility and pH values from 1 - 14 are required. For hydrophilic solutions, pre-rinsing with solvent is necessary to make the hydrophobic membrane permeable to aqueous liquids. Due to its hydrophobicity, Minisart SRP can also be used as a breather filter. The filter housing is made of PP (polypropylene), which is compatible with strong solvents and acids and bases.
