Individually packaged and sterile Minisart® SRP Syringe Filters are optimal for immediate use whenever sterile filtration or clear filtration of aggressive solvents is required prior to HPLC or GC. The PTFE membrane with low non-specific binding is the best option for leachable-free filtration. It offers the highest chemical compatibility and is suitable for pH values from 1 - 14. For hydrophilic solutions, pre-rinsing with solvent would be necessary to make the hydrophobic membrane permeable to aqueous liquids. Due to its hydrophobicity, Minisart SRP can also be used as a breather filter. The filter housing is made of PP (polypropylene), which is compatible with strong solvents and acids and bases.
