Non-sterile Minisart® PES syringe filters are available in bulk packs. This reduces waste and facilitates handling whenever the application allows clear filtration and cell removal under non-sterile conditions. In addition, the filters can also be assembled first and then sterilized. Due to the asymmetric membrane structure, the PES surface functions similar to a pre-filter and allows highest flow rates. The membrane with low non-specific binding is firmly attached to the housing, making bidirectional use possible. The filter housing is made of PP (polypropylene), which is compatible with strong solvents and acids and bases.
