Individually packaged and sterile Minisart® PES syringe prefilters are optimal for immediate use whenever sterile filtration or clear filtration and cell removal under sterile conditions is required. Due to the asymmetric membrane structure, the PES surface functions similar to a prefilter and allows for highest flow rates. The membrane with low non-specific binding is firmly attached to the housing, which makes bidirectional use possible. The filter housing is made of PP (polypropylene), which is compatible with strong solvents and acids and bases.
