Non-sterile Minisart® NML syringe filters are available in bulk packs. This reduces waste and facilitates handling whenever the application allows clear filtration or cell removal under non-sterile conditions. The housing is made of acrylic granules MBS (methacrylate-butadiene-styrene), which has limited compatibility with alcohols, but is phthalate-free and passes plastic class test VI. It is adhesive, e.g. to tubing, which allows assembly and sterilization by the customer. The SFCA membrane is available in many pore sizes and is permanently bonded to the housing, making bi-directional use possible. This, combined with the very low non-specific binding characteristics of this membrane, makes it the perfect choice for biomolecule solutions.
