Individually packaged and sterile Minisart® NML syringe prefilters are optimal for immediate use whenever sterile filtration, clear filtration or cell removal of highly particulate-laden fluids is required. The glass fiber prefilter protects the membrane from early blockage and increases overall throughput. The very low non-specific binding characteristic of the SFCA membrane makes the filters the perfect choice for biomolecule solutions. The housing is made of MBS (methacrylate-butadiene-styrene) acrylic granules, which have limited compatibility with alcohols but are phthalate-free. GF and membrane in a filter housing reduce the retention volume. If that is not a limiting factor, a GF-only version is available that can be coupled with any membrane syringe filter.
