Non-sterile Minisart® NML syringe filters are available in bulk packs. This reduces waste and facilitates handling whenever the application allows clear filtration or cell removal of highly particulate liquids under non-sterile conditions. The glass fiber prefilter protects the membrane from premature blockage and increases the overall throughput. The very low non-specific binding characteristic of the SFCA membrane makes the filters the perfect choice for biomolecule solutions. The housing is made of MBS (methacrylate-butadiene-styrene) acrylic granules, which have limited compatibility with alcohols but are phthalate-free. GF and membrane in a filter housing reduce the retention volume. If this is not a limiting factor, a GF-only version is available that can be coupled with any membrane syringe filter.
