SafeFAST XXL workbench

The SafeFAST XXL is an individualized microbiological safety workbench designed, among other things, to accommodate automated laboratory robots. The workbench offers pure air of class ISO 3 according to ISO EN 14644-1, operates in negative pressure with an inflow barrier of 0.5 m/s air velocity and thus offers maximum product and personal protection. Part of the air is exhausted via an exhaust air HEPA filter to ensure environmental protection.
The XXL workbench from FASTER can be "customized" in various ways to meet the requirements of the specific application. Of course, always according to EN 12469:2000. In addition, all XXL models allow working with large and heavy equipment such as 3D printers or robots due to their heavy-duty floors. The standard working depth is 1 m and the working height is 1 m.

  • Epoxy powder coated steel outer casing and inner back panel
  • Reinforced AISI 304L stainless steel work surface as standard, perforated work surface or work tray available as options
  • Filtering by H14 HEPA vertical flow and exhaust filters according to CEN EN 1822
  • Ventilation by electric centrifugal fan
  • Front and side windows made of safety glass
  • Front panel with hinges to hold it open for an opening height of up to 600 mm
  • Electrical sockets with IP 55 protection
  • DEHS test ports (quick couplings) for filter integrity tests
  • Lighting by LED outside the working area
  • Microprocessor control with alarms for the main unit parameters
  • Electronic direct current (DC) blowers
Standard equipment:
  • Hinged front window for optimal cleaning
  • 1 or 2 sockets depending on the size
