DURAN® transition piece, expansion type, sleeve NS 24/29, core NS 19/26 Transition pieces are glass components with two standard ground joints of different sizes. These adapters can be used to join glass components with different standard ground joints. Transition pieces are available in different designs. The reduction piece connects sections from a large sleeve to a small core, while the expansion piece does this for sections from a small sleeve to a large core.
