Sartorius® Wallerstein Nutrient Biosart 100 Medium, Biosart 100 Nutrient Media

Biosart® 100 monitors are specifically designed for the detection and quantification of microorganisms in pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, beverages and foods, water and other liquids. The ready-to-use units are pre-sterilized and contain a membrane and a cardboard disc. The suitable Biosart® 100 culture media are portioned and filled in plastic ampoules and are available for different destinations. Each package of Biosart® 100 Nutrient Media contains 50 plastic ampoules, each with 2.5 ml sterile medium and a batch certificate. When stored appropriately ( 4 °C), the media have a shelf life of 12 months (except: Endo, KF Strep | Azide, Lauryl Sulfate | Teepol and Tergitol have 9 months). The formulation ensures optimal colony growth on membranes and complies with international standards: international pharmacopoeias, DIN and ISO standards, American Standards for water and food, mineral water guidelines, recommendations for the food and beverage industry.The manufacturing and quality assurance of the media complies with strict Sartorius regulations. Each batch is only released after thorough growth tests, sterility tests and successful testing of the physical-technical parameters.
