Sartorius® Vivapure AdenoPACK™ 20

In the AdenoPACK series, the Vivapure AdenoPACK 20 is suitable for small-scale purification. With easy and fast handling, this kit also offers the possibility of parallel sample purification of up to 1 x 1012 viruses from 6 x 20 ml cell culture volume. With this kit, one can purify multiple virus constructs simultaneously, which is a great advantage when one wants to screen new constructs. In contrast, the traditionally used cesium chloride density gradient purification method is only effective for cell pellets obtained from cell culture volumes larger than 100 ml. The kit provides a rapid, simple and non-toxic means of adenovirus purification using this new method. In addition, based on the same cell culture density, higher virus titers are obtained after purification and expensive, high-maintenance equipment such as ultracentrifuges are no longer required for purification. Membrane adsorbent technology: The AdenoPACK purification series is based on a patented membrane adsorbent technology that combines the advantages of a large pore membrane structure with the advantages of classical chromatography. The porous membrane adsorbers with high capacity, low differential pressures, high flux rates and low non-specific binding are ideally suited for small-scale virus purification. For processes requiring strong separation efficiencies and large sample volumes, AdenoPACK units are scalable to meet cGMP facilities as well.
