The Vivaflow® 50R is ideally suited for the concentration of cell culture supernatants as well as for virus and water sample concentration (e.g. for environmental samples or water samples in fish farming). This economical product is extremely user-friendly, unsurpassed in reliability and flexibility, and therefore offers what no other laboratory filtration system on the market can do on this scale. By recirculating the sample through the narrow meander-like channels of the modules, high crossflow velocities are achieved with a minimum of pump power required. A single 50 cm2 crossflow cassette typically allows concentration of 250 ml by a factor of 20 in less than 30 min. Alternatively, two Vivaflow® 50R units can be connected in parallel to achieve concentration of one liter in about 45 min. The highest possible product yield is achieved just by rinsing the cassette once. The Vivaflow® 50R is easy to clean and can be reused several times. The necessary accessories for sample concentration with a single cassette, with the exception of the peristaltic pump and the size 16 pump head, are included in the delivery. With the help of the additionally available diafiltration beaker, the system can be used for simple and fast buffer exchange. Ready-to-use crossflow unit for laboratory use Fast and easy concentration of protein samples Reusable Can be used for the volume range of 0.1 l - 1 l Ideally suited for the concentration of cell culture supernatants and also virus-containing solutions Smallest crossflow cassette on the market with the premium Hydrosart® membrane High flow rate and recovery
