Sartorius® Vivacell 100 pressure lid

Vivacell 100 is a disposable ultrafiltration unit for concentrating samples up to 98 ml, which can be used either in a centrifuge or for pressure filtration. Vivacell 100 thus combines the user-friendliness of centrifugation units with the flexibility and controllability of pressurized units. Vivacell 100 is easy to assemble, requires no tubing connections or agitators, and can be adapted to the available equipment and user-specific requirements. For easiest handling, the units are centrifuged in a large centrifuge (carriers accept 250 ml bottles). For better process control or for handling individual samples, gas pressure can be combined with gentle orbital shaking. To greatly simplify operation, the pressurized unit can also be left on a lab bench or in a refrigerator.
