Sartorius® Nutrient Dishes, Sabouraud Agar, sterile, BACTair™ Nutrient Dishes

This system for airborne microbial collection enables impaction on nutrient trays that serve directly as the collection head. The nutrient tray is integrated directly into the impaction sieve. Metal sieves and slotted collection heads that have to be sterilized before use are thus a thing of the past. The geometry of the culture medium plate and the 400 impaction holes of the sieve guarantee the highest recovery rates of airborne microorganisms, especially compared to most conventional impaction collectors. The pump for the air flow in this new method is the well-tried AirPort MD8 air sampler, which is already successfully used for collection with the gelatin filter method.
