Sartorius® Microsart RESEARCH Mycoplasma

The Microsart® RESEARCH Mycoplasma Real-time PCR Kit is specifically designed for rapid and reliable Mycoplasma contamination control. It is particularly suitable for cell culture supernatants and cell cultures in the field of research and development, such as biotechnological and biopharmaceutical research and development, but also for universities and government research groups or as in-process control in biopharmaceutical processes. An optional standard DNA extraction is followed by real-time PCR, which is used for the detection of the mycoplasma DNA. A sample volume of 2 µl is sufficient. The DNA is amplified using a qPCR cycler. With a standard cycler software you can perform the analysis. Due to the TaqMan® probes used, high specificity is also achieved.
