Sartorius® Microsart ATMP Mycoplasma

Rapid detection of Mycoplasma contamination in advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) is critical due to the short shelf life of these very important products. With the Microsart® ATMP Mycoplasma, you reduce your testing time from weeks to 3 hours. In addition, the use of a TaqMan® probe leads to high specificity in the PCR system and minimizes the interpretation of results. The Microsart® ATMP Mycoplasma Kit has been validated according to EP 2.6.7 'Mycoplasma' in combination with EP 2.6.21 in terms of detection limit for all listed mycoplasma species, specificity and robustness for autologous cell transplants (e.g. chondrocytes). The Microsart® ATMP Mycoplasma Kit can be used without much effort as no special hardware is required. The kit can be used with all current real-time PCR instruments that can detect the fluorescent dyes FAM™ and ROX™.
