Sartorius® Complete accessories for Vivaflow 50 system with 230 V pump

Vivaflow 50 is a ready-to-use tangential flow filtration unit. The membrane area of the disposable, low-cost unit is 50 cm². One package size includes two units and all accessories for their joint use with a laboratory peristaltic pump and a size 16 pump head. Up to six units can be used together for up to 3 L of sample to accelerate concentration. Vivaflow 50 is ideally suited for applications such as concentration of cell culture supernatants, viruses and also water concentration e.g. from water samples or from fish breeding tanks. This cost-effective unit is easier to operate than any other laboratory filtration unit of its size, and is also reliable and flexible to use. One unit typically concentrates samples of 500 ml volume by a factor of 35 in less than 50 min. A simple rinse of the unit achieves almost complete recovery of the concentrated sample. One packaging unit includes all accessories for use, except a pump. A sealed 500 ml diafiltration cup can be added to the system for easy and fast buffer exchange.
