Sampler for frozen food and semi-luxury food products. The very robust cavity sampler quickly cuts into the sample material with its sharp saw crown. A sample cylinder (cross-section sample) can be cut out. The ice drill is mounted on your standard drilling machine. Quickly and easily, the drill bit bores into the frozen material to the desired depth. This allows, without much effort, to cut a representative core sample from all layers of the frozen medium. Depending on the design, core samples can be taken from up to 100 or 200 mm drilling depth. The sample can be easily removed from the drill head with the ejector. The V4A stainless steel drill is sterilizable and suitable for use with food. The ice drill is ideal for quality control in the food and feed sector, and is suitable for sampling frozen meat for meat inspection, for example.
