The PUR coating envelops the volumetric flask like a protective jacket. If the volumetric flask breaks, the dangerous shattering effect is considerably reduced. Compared to uncoated glass volumetric flasks, the static charge is not increased. The coating is colored light blue for visual differentiation. The service temperature is a maximum of 135 °C at dry heat (exposure time 30 minutes). Frequent autoclaving at 121 °C reduces the splinter protection. The maximum cleaning temperature is 95 °C. On request, they are also available with individual certificate or DAkkS calibration certificate.
