Sartorius® CN membrane, 0.22 µm, 47 mm, 100 pcs, cellulose nitrate (cellulose mixed ester) membrane filter

The cellulose nitrate (CN) or cellulose mixed ester (MCE) membrane filters are made of cellulose nitrate and a small amount of cellulose acetate. They are recommended for a variety of applications such as aqueous solution filtration and sample preparation. Cellulose nitrate filters with 0.2 µm pore size can be used for the analysis of the filterability of beer (membrane filter test according to Esser, from MEBAK - Brautechnische Analysemethoden - Würze, Bier, Mischgetränke - Methodensammlung der Mitteleuropäischen Brautechnischen Analysenkommission 2012, chapter 2.20.1).
