As soon as the magnetic coupling between the magnetic stirrer and the stirring rod is lost due to a speed that is set too high or changing viscosities, the stirrer is stopped, the stirring rod is re-centered and gently accelerated again. The set speed is automatically reduced by 100 rpm to ensure reliable stirring. The process is repeated until the system is running reliably. mixWATCH ensures a very high level of operational reliability, e.g. for containers and vessels that cannot be seen, but also for unattended operation overnight. mixWATCH is integrated as standard in 2mag MIXdrive 1 XL.
