Testo® 317-2 - Gas leak detector

Leaky gas lines not only lead to higher gas consumption, but in the worst case can also trigger explosions and fires. Since leaks are often difficult to detect with the naked eye (e.g. the smallest hairline cracks), the use of gas measurement technology is ideal for testing gas lines. The testo 317-2 gas leak detector can be used to test gas line connections safely and efficiently. The handy gas detector for beginners detects two types of gas: methane and propane. The gas concentration is shown on the display via a bar graph. In addition, the gas leak detector reports rising gas concentrations via an acoustic alarm. The measuring device also acoustically confirms its readiness for measurement.
