DURAN® GLS 80® laboratory bottle, wide neck, brown, with screw cap and pouring ring, PP, blue, 3500 ml The DURAN® GLS 80® wide neck laboratory bottles are formed from high purity, clear USP / EP type I borosilicate glass 3.3,which is known for its excellent thermal behavior and high resistance to chemical influences. The wider opening allows easier bottle access for larger samples or materials such as granules, powders or viscous liquids. The use of a fused, external brown stain protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light meets international USP/EP standards and lasts the life of the bottle. The brown bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labeling field. The permanently printed batch identifier ("Retrace Code") on each bottle guarantees full manufacturing traceability. The brown DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottles are supplied complete with or without the familiar blue polypropylene closure and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
