DURAN® Original GL 45 laboratory bottle, brown, without screw cap and pouring ring, 250 ml DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have become the gold standard of multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972. The bottles are molded from high purity, clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal behavior and high resistance to chemical attack. A combination of high-performance materials and robust ISO 4796-1 design ensures long service life. The use of a fused external brown coloration protects photosensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light meets international USP/EP standards and lasts the life of the bottle. The brown-colored bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labeling field. The permanently printed batch identifier ("Retrace Code") on each bottle guarantees full traceability of manufacture. DURAN® Original laboratory bottles in brown are supplied with or without the familiar blue polypropylene cap and drip-free pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
