DURAN® protect GL 32 laboratory bottle, brown, plastic-coated, without screw cap and pouring ring, 50 ml DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have become the gold standard of multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972. The safety-coated version of the bottles combines the best of both worlds: virtually inert USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3 on the inside and a protective plastic coating on the outside. The bottles are molded from high-purity, brown-coated glass, which is then coated with a PU plastic coating to reduce the risk of glass breakage and liquid splashing in the event of breakage. The brown coloration protects light-sensitive materials from the effects of photodegradation. Protection against ultraviolet light meets international USP/EP standards. A combination of high-performance materials and rugged ISO 4796-1 design ensures long service life. Bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and durable white enamel labeling panel. The permanently printed batch identifier ("Retrace Code") on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of production. The plastic jacket meets ASTM E1522 requirements and is fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
