DURAN® Original GL 45 laboratory bottle, clear, with high temperature screw cap (PBT, red) and pouring ring (ETFE, red), 10000 ml DURAN® Original GL laboratory bottles have become the gold standard of multifunctional laboratory bottles since their introduction in 1972. The bottles are molded from high purity, clear USP/EP Type I borosilicate glass 3.3, known for its excellent thermal behavior and high resistance to chemical attack. A combination of high-performance materials and robust ISO 4796-1 design ensures long service life. The bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labeling field. The permanently printed batch identification ("Retrace Code") on each bottle guarantees complete traceability of production. DURAN Original GL 45 laboratory bottles are supplied complete with high temperature screw caps and pouring rings. The red polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) GL 45 screw caps with PTFE-lined silicone caps and ETFE pouring rings offer higher thermal and chemical resistance than comparable polypropylene components. All components are fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C and are also suitable for dry heat sterilization up to 180 °C. All components comply with current international food safety regulations such as (EU) No. 10/2011.
