DURAN® ball cooler (Allihn cooler), NS 24/29, 250 mm The ball cooler is similar in design to the Liebig cooler. Its internal riser tube is constricted at equal intervals. This creates the typical spherical shape that gives the cooler its name. Due to this shape, the cooling surface is enlarged compared to the Liebig cooler and produces a stronger steam turbulence.
