gently comminutes the sample by a pure cutting action. The rotor made of chromium-free tool steel is especially recommended for sample preparation according to RoHS and WEEE (e.g. for the detection of hexavalent chromium) and for XRF analysis. For all other applications, we recommend our cutting tool sets made of tool steel and carbide tungsten carbide, as these are harder and thus more resistant to abrasion.
