Fritsch® Sieve cassette P-19 L chrome-free steel 4 mm square hole comp. to P-25

Sieve cassettes determine the final fineness of the specimen. Sieve cassettes with trapezoidal perforation and square perforation are offered. Sieve inserts with trapezoidal perforations provide additional comminution through increased shearing action. Sieve cassettes with square perforation are recommended for size reduction of brittle materials and materials of medium fineness with narrow grain width band. Sieve cassettes made of chromium-free steel ST12 are especially recommended for sample preparation according to RoHS and WEEE (e.g. for the detection of hexavalent chromium) and for XRF analysis. For all other applications, sieve cassettes made of stainless steel can be used, as these are harder and therefore more resistant to abrasion.
