Fritsch® Rotor P-19 cpl. with straight cutting edges, hardened stainless steel

The hardened stainless steel rotor with straight cutting edges parallel to the counter knives is suitable for material that can be cut well, such as hay, straw, fibrous and biological materials. The rotor knives can be rotated as they have 2 cutting edges. Your advantage: The service life of the rotor knives is doubled. Alternatively, a rotor with V-cutting edges and counter-knives made of hardened stainless steel is also available. With its particularly acute cutting angle and the resulting higher cutting effect, this rotor is particularly suitable for shredding tough-elastic materials and films. Furthermore, a rotor with V-cutting edges and fixed knives made of tungsten carbide is offered. This rotor shreds material by impact and cutting action and is suitable for hard-tough material. Also available is a particularly robust disc cutter rotor with indexable inserts and fixed knives made of carbide tungsten carbide, this shreds even PCB scrap with glass fiber residues and copper cables. In the disc cutter rotor, the cutting plates can be rotated 4 times and replaced individually. Damage or wear are therefore no longer a reason to purchase a completely new rotor in the future. For sample preparation according to RoHS (e.g. for the detection of hexavalent chromium) and for XRF analysis, we recommend our cutting tool sets made of chromium-free tool steel.
