Sartopore® 2 0.2 µm - sterilizable or autoclavable T-Style Maxicaps® represent a new and innovative design for capsule housings. The T-Style design is ideal for installing multiple filters in series or parallel configurations to minimize floor space and residual volume. Sartopore® 2 0.2 µm T-Style MaxiCaps® can be sterilized by autoclaving or gamma irradiation. The possibility to sterilize by gamma irradiation allows the use of these filters in flexible bag container systems. The PES membrane offers broad chemical compatibility from 1- 10 pH, making the filters ideal for processing in biopharmaceutical industries. Maximum inlet pressure is 5 bar | 72.5 psi at 20°C. Flexible integration Safe and easy installation of the T-Style MaxiCaps in new or existing processes is ensured by the connection variety and scalable filter areas. Economy The ideally matched membrane combination of a 0.45 µm pre-filter with a 0.2 µm final filter allows maximum filter life for efficient filtration processes. Cost savings The T-Style single-use MaxiCaps minimize investment costs by eliminating the need for additional stainless steel housings. Singel-use eliminates costly and time-consuming cleaning, and direct connection of T-Style MaxiCaps is possible without tubing.
