Each ion selective electrode (ISE) and membrane module is tested by wet chemical means. In doing so, it must meet the strict working specifications of several direct measurements and a typical titration application. Each ISE receives a serial number and each is accompanied by a quality certificate. There is no better way to control quality. Modular and flexible METTLER TOLEDO's ion sensitive half cells consist of two elements: the shaft and the membrane module. While the shaft is identical for all half cells, the module makes the half cell ion specific. Simply order the membrane kit of the ion you want to determine and screw the module onto the shaft of the old half cell. You already have a new ISE!
