An electrode for determining the ammonia concentration of samples such as wastewater and Kjeldahl distillate. Features and benefits A gas sensitive electrode (GSE) consists of a pH electrode immersed in an electrolyte solution separated from the measuring solution by a gas sensitive membrane. The gas to be determined diffuses through the membrane and changes the pH value of the electrolyte.
