DURAN® KPG® stirrer shaft, WS 10, length 370 mm KPG® stirrers consist of a KPG® stirrer shaft and a KPG® bearing sleeve. KPG® bearing parts are manufactured with great accuracy and uniformity. The specified tolerances for nominal diameter and fit are maintained through careful inspection. This ensures the interchangeability of KPG® bearing sleeves and KPG® agitator shafts. Due to the small bearing clearance between the running surfaces, almost absolute sealing and completely smooth running can be achieved with suitable lubrication. KPG® stirrers are an alternative to magnetic stirrers and are used for reaction vessels that are not accessible from below, when very viscous reaction mixtures are to be stirred or when a high stirring speed is required.
