DURAN® protect GLS 80® laboratory bottle, wide neck, clear, plastic-coated, without screw cap and pouring ring, 3500 ml The DURAN® GLS 80® wide neck laboratory bottles are formed from high purity, clear USP / EP type I borosilicate glass 3.3,which is known for its excellent thermal behavior and high resistance to chemical influences. The wider opening allows easier bottle access for larger samples or materials such as granules, powders or viscous liquids. The safety-coated version of the bottles combines the best of both worlds: near-inert USP / EP Type I borosilicate 3.3 glass on the inside and a protective safety plastic coating on the outside. The bottles are molded from high purity clear glass, which is then coated with a clear PU plastic coating to reduce the risk of glass breakage and liquid splashing in the event of breakage. The bottles feature an easy-to-read graduated volume scale and a durable white enamel labeling panel. The permanently printed batch identification ("Retrace Code") on each bottle guarantees full traceability of production. The brown DURAN® GLS 80® wide-neck laboratory bottles are supplied complete with or without the familiar blue polypropylene cap and non-drip pouring ring for use up to 140 °C. The plastic sheathing meets the requirements of the European Union. The plastic jacket meets ASTM E1522 requirements and is fully autoclavable at 121 or 134 °C.
