The low bottle height simplifies work in biosafety cabinets. The filter unit is specifically designed for sterilization or clarification of aqueous cell culture media. The filter can be used for the DURAN® TILT bottle (with GL 45 thread adapter) as well as for conventional GL 45 cell culture media bottles. It is available in three different asymmetric pore sizes (0.1 ?m, 0.2 ?m and 0.45 ?m). The raised volume marking allows a clear and distinct reading of the contained volume at any time. The filter is made of Class VI non-cytotoxic materials under Class 100,000 cleanroom conditions - supplied sterile.
