The containers used in the systems are, for example, microtiter plates, test tube racks and reservoirs. The DURAN® microtiter plates allow the use of small GL 25 DURAN® bottles with a capacity of 10 or 25 ml on the decks of many liquid handling robots. DURAN® bottles can be used for stability testing of new active ingredients in the same way as the larger DURAN® bottles. The small screw-cap bottles are also a more robust alternative to vials because they have a thicker wall. The microplates are compatible with robotic liquid handling workstations and automated pipetting systems from leading manufacturers such as Tecan, Flow Robotics, Fluent, Eppendorf, Hamilton, Beckman, PerkinElmer, Agilent Technologies and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
