DURAN® stainless steel connection system GL 45 with 4 ports, cyan PP, silicone seal The DURAN® 4-port connection system is manufactured using an innovative additive manufacturing process, three-dimensional metal printing. This process allows the complex shape to be optimized using computer-aided design software and significantly reduces the amount of metal required for construction. The connection system can be used for all sizes of DURAN® GL 45 bottles and facilitates the transport of liquids within a closed and aseptic system. The four hose connections with external threads are suitable for flexible hoses with an internal diameter of 6.4 mm (1/4''). This corresponds to the SDD initiative size A tubing type, which allows easy connection to buffer bags, mixing systems, etc. The free-rotating stainless steel center allows the bottle to be unscrewed without disconnecting the hose. Connector and body are made of stainless steel type 316L (1.4404 / S31603). A silicone gasket and GL 45 screw cap provide a liquid-tight seal. Wide temperature application range (up to 180 °C).
