The differential pressure gauge testo 521-1 is designed for precise differential pressure measurements in air conditioning and ventilation technology. It is ideal for measuring the pressure drop across filters and for checking fans and extraction systems. The gauge is also suitable for pitot tube measurements in the ventilation duct or in process air (in the range of 5 to 100 m/s). The differential pressure gauge has an integrated temperature-compensated differential pressure sensor that measures with an accuracy of 0.2 % f.s.. In addition, up to 2 additional optional probes can be connected to the gauge. This allows you to flexibly adapt the differential pressure gauge to your application. The following probes are available: Differential pressure probes Absolute pressure probes Relative pressure probes Temperature probes (e.g. surface probes or immersion and penetration probes) The practical features of the testo 521-1 differential pressure meter Thanks to its integrated differential pressure sensor, the testo 521-1 meter calculates flow velocity and flow rate using a pitot tube (can be ordered separately). The differential pressure meter also offers time and point averaging. Long-term monitoring is also possible: the measurement data can be stored individually or as a measurement series. The measurement rate and the number of values to be stored can be selected by the user. Dynamic measurements can be stored in the measuring device in a measuring cycle of 0.04 seconds. With the help of the optional ComSoft software, you can perform online measurements via your PC; save the measurement data in relation to the measurement location and analyze them on the PC. For a direct printout of measurement data at the measurement location, you can use the optional testo quick printer. For pressure measurement, you can choose between the following units: mbar, hPa, bar, Pa, kPa, inH2O, mmH2O, torr and psi. The average value, the last measured value and min/max values are displayed with a simple keystroke.
