Sartopore 2 High Flow sterile filter cartridges have been specially developed for the filtration of water-based pharmaceutical formulations. They feature a single-layer, hydrophilic polyethersulfone membrane. Characteristics of this membrane are high chemical compatibility, highest thermal resistance, increased mechanical stability as well as higher flow rates than any other sterile filter cartridge allows. The polyethersulfone membrane of Sartopore 2 HF filter cartridges is compatible in the pH range from pH 1 to 14 and with multiple steam sterilizations. The increased effective filtration area of Sartopore 2 HF filter cartridges enables the highest flow rates. Sartopore 2 HF filter cartridges are designed, developed and manufactured in accordance with an ISO 9001 certified quality management system. Each individual filter element is batch tested for integrity using diffusion and bubble point testing. Validation documentation is available in accordance with regulatory requirements.
