This qpore® transfer membrane made of cellulose nitrate (CN) is 100% pure and contains no foreign substances, enabling background-free blots with optimal bands. Transfer membranes made of CN with a pore size of 0.45 µm are the general laboratory standard and suitable for most applications with protein or nucleic acids > 20 kDa. The high protein binding capacity prevents bleed-through during transfer and allows detection of even the smallest amounts of protein.
