Diameter 13 mm fits SH 70 G (HD 2070.2) and SH 213 G (HD 2200.2). A titanium disc represents a greatly shortened sonotrode. The ultrasonic emitting surface is subject to wear by cavitation erosion in any design. However, the replacement of a titanium disk can be done at a much lower cost than for long sonotrodes due to the low material cost. The titanium disks are used for medium volume sonication.
